Who really is Jesus Christ?
Some say he was just a prophet. Others say He was more than a prophet. Some say He was just a man with special wisdom and powers. Yet before Abraham was Jesus existed. Jesus was from before the creation.
So how do we understand truly who Jesus really is?
Two deeper Bible studies unlocked my understanding on who Jesus really is. I was a Christian for 43 years before I studied out the word; flesh. I just assumed that I understood the english so I understood the word. My study caused me to realize that while the world around us uses one definition for the word flesh, the scriptures have two different meanings. While I realized that I knew that, I also realized that, I would naturally just interpret scriptures with the meaning the world uses because I was used to doing so. It is just how everyone around us thinks. Now when I read the scriptures, I stop where it uses the word flesh then verify which meaning the scriptures were actually using. Not only did that change the meaning of the scriptures, it also brought considerable clarity to the meaning. Far more than I would have expected.
Then John 1:14 made much more sense and changed my understanding of who Jesus actually is.
