If the brightest, most highly educated leaders of the day, missed the real Messiah, then we should use great caution to avoid making the same mistake. These men spent their lives studying the real scriptures given by the God that created the heavens and the earth. Not only did they miss the world's Messiah, they intentionally caused the Messiah to be murdered!
Where did they go wrong? That mistake is so easy to make. Without realizing it, most of us have also made the same mistake. Being religious, or of any religion including Christianity, does not keep a person from making that same mistake.
